I DID NOT GET A USERNAME OR PASSWORD. HOW DO I FIND IT?
Look for an email from thecheesecakefactory+autoreply@talent.icims.com titled “Thank You for Applying at [Restaurant Name]". After you completed your first application, our system sent you a username and password reset link.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT TO WORK AT THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY?
You must be 18 years old or older to be employed.

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO APPLY FOR A POSITION?
Search and apply for a job on any of our career sites: The Cheesecake Factory, Grand Lux Cafe, North Italia, Flower Child, Culinary Dropout, The Henry, Blanco or Fox Restaurant Concepts. You can also visit one of our restaurants and ask to speak to a manager.
CAN I APPLY IN PERSON?
For our open restaurant roles, we would love to meet you in person! It’s a great way to meet our managers and staff and ask questions. You will still need to apply online at www.cakecareers.com using your mobile device, a computer or an iPad available in the restaurant. We only consider applicants who have completed our online application.
For corporate and bakery roles, the entire application process is completed online.
CAN I APPLY TO MULTIPLE JOBS OR MULTIPLE LOCATIONS?
Yes, but try to focus on the jobs you’re most interested in and qualified for. Carefully read the job descriptions and decide which jobs best fit your skillset. To apply for another role or another location, simply log back into your account/profile and fill out the information.
WHY DO SOME JOBS SEEM LIKE THEY’RE ALWAYS HIRING (FOR EXAMPLE: SERVER)?
We advertise our restaurant positions all year round so we have available applications when there is an immediate need. Feel free to check with the restaurant to see if they are hiring for that position at this time. Managers look at applicants over the last three months for open positions.
I REALLY WANT TO WORK HERE BUT DON’T SEE ANY CAREERS THAT FIT ME. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We’re always posting new positions. Keep checking our career site for opportunities.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION?
You’ll receive an email confirming we received your application within 24 hours. If we think there’s a good fit, a manager will reach out to you. If you haven’t heard from us within a week of applying, we either don’t have an immediate opening, or we moved forward with another applicant. However, we’ll keep your application on file for three months and reach out if an opportunity becomes available.
WILL I BE CONSIDERED FOR ONLY THE POSITION I APPLIED TO?
Occasionally we’ll consider an applicant for a position other than the one they applied for, but it’s not common. We recommend applying for all the positions you’re qualified for to have the best chance of being considered for a job. To apply for another role or another location, simply log back into your account/profile and fill out the information.
CAN I WITHDRAW AN APPLICATION?
If you change your mind about a particular job, you can withdraw your application by logging in to your account. If you don’t know your username or password, click “Forgot your password?” on the login screen and enter your email address. If you've already received a job offer, please decline by replying to the emailed offer and contact the restaurant manager to let them know.
HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR MY INTERVIEW?
Review the job description and prepare a few examples that demonstrate your strengths and work experiences related to the position. Do a bit of research on our company and come with any questions you have about us or the opportunity.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN A POTENTIAL CANDIDATE?
We look for dynamic, energetic people who (1) have high personal standards of integrity and respect for all, (2) strive for quality in everything they do, (3) are service-minded and focused on hospitality, (4) love to learn and work with others to improve a little every day, and (4) enjoy celebrating the moments that matter. We call these people “so Cheesecake!”
SHOULD I ASK QUESTIONS DURING THE INTERVIEW?
Yes! Thoughtful questions demonstrate your level of understanding, your interest and your passions, so don't hold back. While we want to learn more about you, your interview is an opportunity for you to get to know us, too. Feel free to ask about pay, hours and schedule, benefits, local transportation options, seasonal work, training… whatever you want to know!
HOW SHOULD I DRESS FOR MY INTERVIEW?
Since we’re an “upscale casual” restaurant, we recommend wearing something casual, but nice – like a nice pair of jeans or pants and a collared shirt or blouse. Choose something that makes you feel confident and comfortable to help you make a great first impression. And that goes for our Support Center and Bakery Operations opportunities as well!
DO YOU OFFER RELOCATION ASSISTANCE?
We sometimes offer relocation assistance for Restaurant Manager and Support Center roles depending on hiring needs.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY INTERVIEW?
Life happens and we understand. Please call the restaurant or text your hiring manager as soon as possible to let them know and reschedule.

HOW CAN I APPLY FOR A NEW RESTAURANT THAT HASN'T OPENED YET?
We begin hiring staff about two months before opening day. Staff opportunities will be posted on NRO around that time. Search for the location in the job search field.
Management roles are typically filled at new restaurants by managers transferring from other restaurant locations. This ensures we have a seasoned team to manage the restaurant opening. We will backfill these transferred managers about three months before the new restaurant opens, and these opportunities will be posted on the career site for the locations needing a backfill.

It’s easy. All you have to do is log back into your account and you can pick up where you left off.
I DID NOT COMPLETE THE QUESTIONNAIRE. HOW DO I GO BACK TO COMPLETE IT?
If you were asked to complete a questionnaire and have not finished it yet, look out for an email asking you to complete it or contact your recruiter directly. Note: this is not required for all positions
HOW DO I UPDATE MY PROFILE/APPLICATION?
To update your contact information and other important details, log back in to your application account.
DO YOU SHARE MY INFORMATION WITH ANYONE?
Nope! We keep your information in our system for 12 months but we never share it externally.
HOW DO I REMOVE MY CHEESECAKE CAREERS ACCOUNT/PROFILE INFORMATION?
Please contact ats@thecheesecakefactory.com to have your profile account completely removed. If you just want to remove a resume, job alerts or other personal information, log into your account and click “Update Your Profile.”
